This show started right before Mizzou men's basketball first NCAA tournament appearance in five years and the night before Mizzou women's basketball tournament bid. KOMU had reporters at both hosting locations in Nashville and Palo Alto, which was important to establish for the Mid-Missouri audience. I chose to highlight this show for its event-based coverage, but soon after it followed a strong flow between national and local stories.

The biggest Mid-Missouri news from this show proved to be heavy rain weather, which led the newscast through team coverage from reporters and meteorologist Kenton Gewecke. Updates on Russia and the governor followed, but the big news block closed out with Chris Gervino analyzing the NBA decision of Michael Porter Jr. I chose to highlight this show for its variety of newsworthy content without sacrificing accuracy or a logical progression.
